MAPPING CROSS-CONNECTS
OMM modules support the provisioning of cross-connects within the OPTI-6100 chassis. To
facilitate the cross-connects, a dual-pane interface allows simultaneous viewing of two different
modules, ports, or both within the OPTI-6100 system. This section presents the operational
considerations of this interface.
Dual-Pane Interface
The dual-pane interface occurs automatically when the Mapping option is selected. To begin
dual-pane mapping, perform the steps below:
1. From the OPTI-6100 Main menu, select
NOTE
Cross-connects for OMM modules can be mapped from either OMM.
2. From the OMM module menu, select
3. From the Provisioning menu, select

are identical and completely interchangeable. It does not matter which side is used.
