Creating a New STS-1 Mapping

STS-1 Mapping requires an additional level of the dual-pane mode. First, at the system-level
view, the slots are displayed in a list (regardless of whether the slots are occupied by tributary
modules at the time). To select a module, highlight a slot number, and press
After a module is selected, the pane refreshes to a list of STS-1s specific to the selected module.
In Figure 175, the left side has been advanced to the STS-1 selection pane, while the right side
still displays the module selection pane.

To create a new STS-1 Mapping, follow the procedures below:
