Fiber Connection and Routing

Identify the fiber conductors to be terminated on the GigE module, and insert the connectors
into the or jacks as appropriate.

NOTICE
The clips on the GEFMEH module permit fibers up to 2×2 mm.

To avoid pinching fibers between the GEFM, PWE3M, or GEFMEH

module faceplate and the edge of the chassis, route the fibers
through the guides on the module and out along the top edge of
the front panel, as illustrated in

NOTE
The GEFMEW module uses front-access fiber termination. Onboard
fiber routing does not apply.
