3.6.4 Setting Machine-specific Motion Parameters
(Fixed parameter No. 38: Maximum Number of Absolute Encoder Rotations
The following formulas give the value of the reset rotations. The formula depends on whether
the reference unit is set to the pulse or to one of the following: mm, deg, or inch.
• When the Reference Unit Is Pulse
No. 10: Infinite-length Axis Reset Position
No. 36: Numbers of Pulses Per Servomotor Rotation
• When the Reference Unit Is mm, Deg, or Inch
No. 10: Infinite-length Axis Reset Position × No. 8: Servomotor Gear Ratio
No. 6: Travel Distance per Machine Rotation × No. 9: Machine Gear Ratio
