The B-2404-P also supports connections for E1 services. The CES IWF interface
provides MEF-8 packetization of E1 traffic from the E1/T1 interface, which provides

Network synchronization for CES
The B-2404-P business ONT Circuit Emulation System (CES) IWF supports the
following network synchronization modes the operation:
•
Loop timing (TX TDM clock generated from T1/E1 recovered clock)
•
Network timing (TX TDM clock generated from ONT Network Timing
Reference recovered from PON interface)
•
Differential Recovery clock [TX TDM clock based on common reference clock
and data contained in CESoETH frames (for example, RTP header info)]
•
Adaptive timing (TX TDM clock is based on the arrival time of the frames and
buffer fill rate)
