(1)
It is the responsibility of the customer installation crew to ensure proper on-site layout of video distribution by verifying
that the output power at the end devices, such as the TV, VCR, and STB, is between 0 to 18 dBmV.

HPNA interface specifications

The O-221H-P outdoor ONT supports HPNA v3.1 over COAX and meets the
following HPNA related compliance standards:
meets or exceed all applicable EMC/RFI specifications for ASNI (FCC) market
G.9954 "Home networking transceivers – Enhanced physical, media access, and
link layer specifications," 01/2007
CERT31_HPNA_SG-00013r00 "HomePNA 3.1 Certification Version 0.2,"
October-2006
"HomePNA 3.1 Plug-Fest Certification Guidelines," HomePNA, Rev 1.0,

Compatible with CISCO and MOTOROLA IP TV set top boxes with HPNA over
Coax capability
Standard 75 Ω coaxial cable can be used with F type connector, including: RG-59 or
RG-6 coaxial cable. For more information see the subsections
in the home and design guidelines"
section 3.7.
The HPNA service is compatible with 75 Ω coax impedance matching and
separation of the downstream RF video band (46 to 870 MHz band) from the
bidirectional HPNA RF band (12 to 28 MHZ).
The HPNA service supports specifications described in G.9954 sections 8 to 11,
including the following:
maximum insertion loss for the HPNA signal coupling into the forward
downstream of 46 to 870 MHz band below 1.5 dB
bi-directional throughput over the HPNA equal to or greater than 38 Mb/s in each
direction for 1514 byte packets.
Unidirectional throughput, in Mb/s, over the HPNA port greater than the lesser of
the two values resulting from the equations below
compliance with encoding rate transitions given in G.9954 section 7.5.5
when not transmitting, emits less than –85 dBVrms measured across a 75 Ω load
between center and ground
