NTP 161 — Replace an I-211M-K or I-211M-L indoor ONT

For an I-211M-L indoor ONT in a wall-mounted outdoor enclosure.

Slide the I-211M-L indoor ONT from the outdoor enclosure and remove

For the I-211M-L ONT, route the SC/APC fiber optic cable to the ONT.

Warning — Be careful to maintain a bend radius of no less than 1.5

inches (3.8 cm) when connecting the fiber optic cable. Too small of a

bend radius in the cable can result in damage to the optic fiber.

Position the replacement I-211M-L indoor ONT within the outdoor

enclosure, as shown in Figure

Secure the I-211M-L indoor ONT within the outdoor enclosure.

Note — Observe the following:

Do not overtighten the ONT bracket when securing the I-211M-L

indoor ONT to the outdoor enclosure. The unit can become skewed

and compromise the environmental seal of the ONT mounted in the

outdoor enclosure.

For an I-211M-L indoor ONT in a wall-mounted Just Inside enclosure.

Slide the I-211M-L indoor ONT from the enclosure and remove the unit.

Route the SC/APC fiber optic cable as shown in Figure
