Switch matrix
The Switch matrix provides an integrated data channel between the four GE
MACs, the GPON MAC, the MoCA MAC, the DSP, the control processor, and
the other integrated elements such as flash memory, DRAM, and the local bus
controller.
Package C ONTs can also interact with additional hardware components to support
functionality not provided by the SoC technology.
Single-residence Gigabit Ethernet Package C ONTs without POTS and
RF video
The single-residence Gigabit Ethernet ONT without POTS and RF video represents
one variation of the Package C ONT. In the case of I-010G-Q and I-010G-S indoor
ONTs without POTS or RF video connections, the Package C ONT SoC-based
functional block transmits Ethernet packets to one RJ-45 Ethernet port. These ONTs
also feature fiber optic and power connectors.

I-010G-Q and I-010G-S special considerations

The I-010G-Q and I-010G-S do not support NTP.
For the I-010G-S, ONT control packet rate limiting for ARP, DHCP, and IGMP (in
cases where there is no IGMP channel) is removed from R04.02.50.
