Overview

This chapter describes the MDI (Manual Data Input) mode of operation and how to
execute machining steps in single blocks in this mode.
Short description
The MDI mode enables you to execute precisely one single machining block. The
values to be entered into the input fields can be taken directly from a properly
dimensioned production drawing.
The functions provided by the MDI mode allow efficient single-part production. For
small-batch production, you can program the machining steps in the Programming
mode and then execute them in the Program Run mode.
