Configuring error messages
The OEM-specific error messages can be gated to inputs as additional messages.
The error messages will then be displayed when the input is activated. For this to
work, you need to assign the error messages to the desired input signals.

You can delete individual existing error messages.

Tap Settings in the main menu.
Tap Service
Open in the sequence
OEM area
Settings
Messages
Tap Add
Tap the Name input field
Enter a unique name
Confirm the entry with RET
Tap the Text ID or text input field
Enter a text ID for an existing message text from the text
database or, as an alternative, enter a new message text
Select the desired message type in the Message type drop-
down list:
Standard: the message is displayed for as long as the
input is active
Acknowledgment by user: the message is displayed until
the user acknowledges it
Tap Input
Select the desired digital input
To switch to the previous display, tap Back

Tap Settings in the main menu.
Tap Service
Open in the sequence
OEM area
Settings
Messages
Tap the desired message entry
Tap Remove the entry
Tap OK to confirm deletion
The error message is deleted
