Overview

This chapter describes the Manual operation mode and how to execute simple
machining operations in this mode on a workpiece.
Short description
By traversing the reference marks on the encoder scales, you make it possible to
define an absolute position. When you have completed the reference mark search
in the Manual operation mode, you then set the presets that will be used as the
basis for machining the workpiece compliant to a dimensional drawing.
The following sections describe how to measure positions and select the tools for
simple machining operations in the Manual operation mode.
