4. WRITE VIN
(a) Write VIN using the hand−held tester.
Write:
START
Confirm vehicle VIN
Preparation:
1. Connect hand−held tester to DLC3
2. Turn ignition switch to ON
3. Turn tester ON
Hand−held tester operation:
1. Select DIAGNOSIS
2. Select ENHANCED OBD ll
3. Select VIN
Menu Screen:
VIN
1. VIN READ
2. VIN WRITE 1. VIN READ
CONFIRMATION
This function will erase the
DTCs automatically after
writing the VIN.
