3.5.2 IGMP Snooping Querier

Configuration
The IGMP Snooping Querier Configuration page allows users to configure the IGMP
snooping querier settings. To access this page, click Multicast > IGMP Snooping Querier
> Configuration.

IGMP Version
Displays a VLAN ID - multicast MAC address pair for which the switch has forward-
ing and or filtering information. The format is 8 two-digit hexadecimal numbers that
are separated by colons, for example 00:01:23:45:67:89:AB:CD.
Displays the type of the entry. Static entries are those that are configured by the
user. Dynamic entries are added to the table as a result of a learning process or
protocol.
Displays the text description of this multicast table entry. Possible values are Man-
agement Configured, Network Configured and Network Assisted.
Displays the list of interfaces that are designated for forwarding (Fwd:).
Click Refresh to update the data on the screen with the present state of the data in
the switch.
Click Clear Entries to remove IGMP Snooping entries from the multicast forward-
ing database.
Click the drop-down menu to enable or disable the administrative mode for IGMP
Snooping for the switch from the pull-down menu. The default is disable.
Enter the Snooping Querier Address to be used as source address in periodic
IGMP queries. This address is used when no address is configured on the VLAN
on which query is being sent.
Enter the IGMP protocol version used in periodic IGMP queries. IGMP queries.
