The Port Statistics Summary displays a brief summary of the packet information for each
interface. To access this page, click Switching > Interface Statistics > Interface Brief
Statistics.

Click Clear All Counters to refresh all the counters for all ports, resetting all statis-
tics for all ports to default values.
Click Refresh to update the data on the screen with the present state of the data in
the switch.
Click the drop-down menu to select the interface for which data is to be displayed
or configured.
Displays the object indicates the ifIndex of the interface table entry associated with
this port on an adapter.
Displays the total number of packets received that were without errors.
Displays the number of inbound packets which were chosen to be discarded even
though no errors had been detected to prevent their being deliverable to a higher-
layer protocol. One possible reason for discarding such a packet could be to free
up buffer space.
Displays the number of inbound packets that contained errors preventing them
from being deliverable to a higher-layer protocol.
Displays the total number of good packets received that were directed to the broad-
cast address. Note that this does not include multicast packets.
