Click the drop-down menu to select an entry to modify, create an entry, or delete an
entry. You can use this screen view/modify/delete an existing VLAN configuration
or to create new single/multiple VLAN IDs specified in VLAN ID field. Use this drop-
down menu to select one of the existing VLANs to view/modify the configuration.
You can select 'Create' to add new VLANs or select 'Delete' from the pull-down to
delete the existing VLANs.
Enter the value to use as the name for this configuration.
Displays the VLAN type for the configuration.
Click the box to specify the use of all the ports to participate in this VLAN. The fac-
tory default is Autodetect. The possible values are:
Include - All the ports are always a member of this VLAN. This is equivalent to

registration fixed in the IEEE 802.1q standard.
 Exclude - All the ports are never a member of this VLAN. This is equivalent to
registration forbidden in the IEEE 802.1q standard.
Autodetect - Specifies that all ports may be dynamically registered in this VLAN

via GVRP. All ports will not participate in this VLAN unless it receives a GVRP
request. This is equivalent to registration normal in the IEEE 802.1q standard.
Click the box to select the tagging behavior for all the ports in this VLAN. The fac-
tory default is Untagged. The possible values are:
Tagged - all frames transmitted for this VLAN will be tagged.

Untagged - all frames transmitted for this VLAN will be untagged.

Click the box to specify the use of all the ports to forward unknown multicast frames
in this VLAN. The factory default is Discarding. The possible values are:
Flooding - flood all unknown multicast frames to all the ports in this VLAN,

except for the receiving port.
Discarding - discard all unknown multicast frames received from all the ports in

this VLAN.
Click the box to specify the use of a port to participate in this VLAN. The factory
default is Autodetect. The possible values are:
Include - This port is always a member of this VLAN. This is equivalent to regis-

tration fixed in the IEEE 802.1q standard.
 Exclude - This port is never a member of this VLAN. This is equivalent to regis-
tration forbidden in the IEEE 802.1q standard.
 Autodetect - Specifies that port may be dynamically registered in this VLAN via
GVRP. The port will not participate in this VLAN unless it receives a GVRP
request. This is equivalent to registration normal in the IEEE 802.1q standard.
