Interface Description

The Port Description page displays physical address, port list bit offset, interface index, and
port description for each interface. To access this page, click Switching > Interface Setting
> Interface Description.

Displays the multicast storm control threshold for the port. The factory default is 5
percent.
Displays the unicast storm control status (enabled or disabled) for the port. The
factory default is Disable.
Displays the unicast storm control threshold for the port. The factory default is 5
percent.
Displays the Link Aggregation Control Protocol administration state. The mode
must be enabled in order for the port to participate in Link Aggregation.
Displays the port speed and duplex mode. In auto-negotiation mode the duplex
mode and speed are set from the auto-negotiation process.
Displays the port speed and duplex mode for Physical interfaces. Does not report
Physical Status for LAG interfaces. Physical status is unknown when a port is
down.
Displays the Link status (up or down).
Displays the port send trap status.
Click Refresh to update the data on the screen with the present state of the data in
the switch.
