FUEL GAUGE CHECKSUM FAILURE

SPEEDOMETER CHECKSUM FAILURE

TACHOMETER CHECKSUM FAILURE

TEMPERATURE GAUGE CHECKSUM FAILURE

Test Note: All symptoms listed above are diagnosed using the same tests.
The title for the tests will be FUEL GAUGE CHECKSUM
FAILURE.
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
TEST
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII , record and erase DTC's.
Turn the ignition off, wait 15 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII , read DTCs.
Did the Checksum DTC reset?
Yes → Replace the Instrument Cluster in accordance with the Service
→ Test Complete.
No
