DRIVER DOOR LOCK SWITCH INPUT OPEN OR SHORT TO VOLTAGE —

TEST
3 Disconnect the Driver Door Lock Switch connector.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the Ground circuit in the
harness connector.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?
Yes → Go To 4
→ Repair the Ground circuit for an open.
No
4 Disconnect the Driver Door Lock Switch connector.
Measure the voltage between Door Lock Switch Mux circuit and Ground in the
harness connector.
Select the voltage present.
Below 4.3 volts..
Between 4.4 volts and 5.2 volts.
Above 5.3 volts.
5 Disconnect the Driver Door Lock Switch connector.
Disconnect the Body Control Module C3 connector.
NOTE: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
Turn the ignition on.
Turn the park lamps on.
Measure the voltage between Door Lock Switch Mux circuit and ground.
Is there any voltage present?
Yes → Repair the Door Lock Switch Mux circuit for a short to voltage.
→ Replace the Body Control Module.
No
ACTION
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Repair the Door Lock Switch Mux circuit for an open.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Replace the Door Lock Switch.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Go To 5
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
