Front Blower Runs At Only One Speed - Chrysler Town and Country 2003 Owner's Manual

AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Symptom:

*FRONT BLOWER RUNS AT ONLY ONE SPEED

BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL MODULE
FRONT BLOWER POWER MODULE
TEST
1 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Front Blower Power Module C1 harness connector.
Disconnect the Automatic Temperature Control Module C2 harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the Blower Motor Control circuit.
Is the resistance below 10K ohms?
Yes → Repair the Blower Motor Control circuit for a short to ground.
→ Go To 2
No
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
With the DRBIII , reset the ATC after repair is complete.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
