    GETTING STARTED KEY FOB Locking And Unlocking The Doors/Liftgate • Press the LOCK button once to lock all the doors and the liftgate. Press the UNLOCK button once to unlock the driver’s door only and twice within five seconds to unlock all the doors and liftgate.
  • Page 11 GETTING STARTED • In case the Key Fob battery is dead, use the emergency key to open the door. If the vehicle is equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go, remove the ENGINE START/STOP button by inserting the metal part of the emergency key under the chrome bezel at the 6 o’clock position and gently pry the button loose.

    GETTING STARTED WARNING! • Leaving unattended children in a vehicle is dangerous for a number of reasons. A child or others could be severely injured or killed. Children should be warned not to touch the parking brake, brake pedal, or the shift lever. Do not leave the Key Fob inside the vehicle or in the ignition.
  • Page 13 GETTING STARTED To Unlock From The Driver or Passenger Side: • With a valid Keyless Enter-N-Go Key Fob located outside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5m) of the driver or passenger side door handle, grab either front door handle to unlock the door automatically.

    GETTING STARTED Stopping • Place the shift lever in PARK. • Press the ENGINE START/STOP button once. The ignition switch will return to the OFF position. • If the shift lever is not in PARK, the ENGINE START/STOP button must be held for two seconds and vehicle speed must be above 5 mph (8 km/h) before the engine will shut off.

    GETTING STARTED To Disarm • Keyless Enter-N-Go button installed: Press the Key Fob UNLOCK button or with one of the Key Fobs located outside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5m) of the driver's and passenger front door handles, grab the Keyless Enter-N-Go door handle and enter the vehicle, then press the Keyless Enter-N-Go Start/Stop button (requires at least one valid Key Fob in the vehicle).

    GETTING STARTED SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) — AIR BAGS • This vehicle has Advanced Front Air Bags for both the driver and right front passenger as a supplement to the seat belt restraint system. The Advanced Front Air Bags will not deploy in every type of collision.

    GETTING STARTED CHILD RESTRAINTS • Children 12 years and under should ride properly buckled up in a rear seat, if available. According to crash statistics, children are safer when properly restrained in the rear seats rather than in the front. •...

    GETTING STARTED • Provide enough slack for the tether strap to reach the tether anchor located near the bottom of the seat back. • Clip tether hook to tether anchor. Ensure that the hook is firmly engaged and secure. • Remove all slack and tighten tether strap according to child restraint manufacturer’s instructions.

    GETTING STARTED FRONT SEATS Power Seat • The power seat switch controls forward/back, up/down, and tilt adjustment. • The recline switch, located on the outboard side of the seat, controls seatback adjustment. Power Lumbar • Push the switch forward to increase the lumbar support.

    GETTING STARTED • Place the ignition switch in the ON position, select Remote Linked to Memory in the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) and enter Yes. • Press 1 or 2 to recall the saved positions, or press UNLOCK on the programmed Key Fob. CAUTION! DO NOT place any article under a power seat or impede its ability to move as it may cause damage to the seat controls.

    GETTING STARTED Third Row Seats Third Row Power Recliner • The power recline feature, located on the side of the seat cushion, adjusts the seatback angle forward/rearward for occupant comfort. Third Row Power Seat Switch NOTE: • Disconnect the center shoulder belt from the small buckle and lower the head restraints before attempting to fold/stow the power third row seats.

    GETTING STARTED CAUTION! The storage bin cover must be locked and flat to avoid damage from contact with the front seat tracks, which have minimal clearance to the cover. WARNING! • In a collision, serious injury could result if the seat storage bin covers are not properly latched.

    GETTING STARTED • If the High-level setting is selected, the system will automatically switch to Low-level after approximately 30 minutes. The Low-level setting will turn Off automatically after approximately 45 minutes. WARNING! • Persons who are unable to feel pain to the skin because of advanced age, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cord injury, medication, alcohol use, exhaustion or other physical conditions must exercise care when using the seat heater.

Adjusting the steering wheel while driving or driving without the tilt adjustment locked could cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle.     OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE ENGINE BREAK-IN RECOMMENDATIONS • A long break-in period is not required for the engine and drivetrain (transmission and axle) in your vehicle. • Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph (80 or 90 km/h) are desirable.

    OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE ELECTRONIC RANGE SELECTION (ERS) • Electronic Range Select (ERS) allows you to limit the highest available transmission gear, and can be activated during any driving condition. When towing a trailer or operating the vehicle in off-road conditions, using ERS shift control will help you maximize both performance and engine braking.

Tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern until each nut has been tightened twice. The correct tightness of each lug nut is 102 ft/lbs (138 N·m). If in doubt about the correct tightness, have them checked with a torque wrench by your authorized dealer or service station.
