Blank Screen
These are the steps you can take if you canÕt get anything to appear on the screen.
If you have these symptoms...
The screen is blank.
The
PictureTel Ready
is not showing.

1. Check to see if the system is in Standby
mode by pressing a button on your keypad.

When the system hasnÕt been used for a
certain period of time, it goes into Standby
mode. In Standby mode, the screen goes
blank.
2. Make sure that the power switch on the
front of your system is turned on.
3. Make sure that the power switch on your
monitor is turned on.
4. Make sure that all cable connections to
your system and to the monitor are correct
and secure.
5. If your monitor has multiple inputs such as
Video 1 and Video 2, make sure that the
correct video source is selected.
If your screen is still blank, call your PictureTel
service provider.
