XEROGRAPHIC INSPECTION
1. Generate a test print and slide the Fuser Assembly out of the
printer just before the sheet of paper enters the Fuser.

2. Remove the Xerographic Cartridge (RRP 9.48).
3. Inspect the image on the Drum.
Is there a normal test print image, without background, visible
on the drum?
1. Replace the Xerographic Cartridge (RRP 9.48).

printer just before the sheet of paper enters the Fuser.

4. Inspect the image on the Drum.

IBT INSPECTION
Inspect the image on the surface of the IBT?

Is there a normal test print image, without background, visible
on the surface of the IBT?
Replace the 2ND BTR Assembly (RRP 9.75).

Is there a normal test print image, without background, visible
on the surface of the IBT?

PROBLEM
There is toner contamination on all or most of the page. The contamination appears as a
very light gray dusting. THE PRINTER DISPLAYS NO ERROR MESSAGE.
• Developer Fan (RRP 9.122)
• ROS Assembly (RRP 9.47)
• Developer Assemblies (RRP 9.59, 9.61, 9.63, and 9.65)
