9.5 DETECT / FIXED TONER SUPPLY MODE SELECTION
(SP30)

NOTE: On this copier the ID sensor is used in the fixed supply mode as well
as in the detect mode. Therefore, the fixed supply mode cannot be
used when the ID sensor is in an abnormal condition.
The fixed toner supply mode is applied only to the black development
unit, not to the color one.
SP30: Black Toner Supply Mode
0: Detect mode
1: Fixed mode
If the type of original is almost the same with high
image density and proportion, and adjusting the
toner supply ratio (SP31) and toner density check
interval (SP35) do not give constant image
density without toner scattering problem.
To leave the detect mode and to supply a
constant amount of toner in every copy cycle.
SP30 turns on the toner supply clutch every black
copy cycle.
