13.1.2 Single 2-sided Copy
The sheet, except for the multiple 2-sided copy of A4, B5 or 81/2" x 11"
sideways, can be used for single 2-sided copying.
In single 2-sided copying mode, the same operation as in multiple 2-sided
copying mode is made until the copy is directed to the duplex stack section
[A].
However, the jogger fences [B] move outward and the end fence [C] lowers.
The copy advances over the lowered end fence. After the appropriate timing
for the selected paper, the duplex feed roller [D] reverses. The copy is
directed to the relay rollers [E] and is stopped there.
Second side copying is then made with the copy following the upper paper
tray feed station paper path.
13.1.3 Image Overlay
In single image overlay copying mode, the same operation as in the other
duplex mode is made until the turn gate [F]. In this case, the turn gate does
not rotate. The copy is directly delivered to the relay rollers [B] and is stopped
there.
Then the 2nd image is copied on the same side as the first image.
