11.5.2 Paper End Detection

There are two paper end sensors for the FRR feed station above the paper
feed upper guide plate. One [A] is for the LCT and the other [B] is for the
by-pass feed table. The paper end feeler plate [C] is common for both paper
end sensors and it has two actuators for them.
When there is paper in the LCT, the paper end feeler is kept up by the paper
and the LCT paper end sensor is activated.
When the LCT runs out of paper, the paper end feeler drops into the cut out
[D] of the LCT bottom plate [E] and the LCT paper end sensor is deactivated.
Then the LCT lift motor [F] starts the reverse rotation to lower the LCT bottom
plate. When the LCT lower limit sensor [G] is activated by the bottom plate,
the LCT lift motor stops.
