Restore defaults:
Restore defaults (SHIFT SETUP > RESTORE: FACT).

For front panel operation, proceed to step 3.
For remote programming, clear buffer and disable
buffer auto clear.

Configure advanced scan:
(SHIFT CONFIG > ADVANCED):

Channel 101:
Select TEMP function.
Configure temperature (SHIFT SENSOR):
Select thermistor sensor (SENS: THRMSTR).
Select thermistor type (TYPE: 5000Ω).

Channel 102:
Select Ω2 function.
Select 1MΩ range.

Disable (off) channels 103 through 142 (SHIFT CH-OFF).

Enable immediate scan (IMM SCAN: Y).

Disable timer (TIMER? NO).

Set reading count to infinity (RDG CNT: INF).

Select external trigger control source:
Press EX TRIG.

Enable scan:
Press SCAN.
