mX+b

This math operation lets you manipulate normal display readings (X) mathematically
according to the following calculation.
Y = mX + b
where:
klqbp The m and b constants for mX+ b are coupled to the m and b constants for
mX+b configuration

X is the normal display reading.
m and b are the user-entered constants for scale factor and offset.
Y is the displayed result.
m/X + b. If you change any of the constants for mX+b, they will also change for
m/X + b.
When using Rel, the rel'ed reading of the input signal is used by the mX+b
calculation.
Press SHIFT and then MATH to display the math menu.
Press the RANGE

Press ENTER. The MATH annunciator will turn on and the result of the calculation
will be displayed. Note that the calculation will be applied to all measurement
functions.
To disable mX+b, again press SHIFT and then MATH. The MATH annunciator
will turn off.
