Overview
The machine has two 12V batteries 4 connected in series
to give a 24V power supply. The batteries are located in a
compartment on the LH side of the machine below cover
plate 2.
A battery isolator switch 3 is connected in the earth cable
between the batteries and the revolving chassis. This

enables isolation of the complete machine electrical
system during maintenance procedures.
Power from the batteries connects directly to four primary
fuses A, B, C and D. The primary fuses distribute power to
the ignition relay 5, the main relay 1 and the main fuse PCB
both located inside the cab. This connects some devices
and circuits permanently to the battery supply.
