Clean / Replace
1 Prepare the machine.
Maintenance, Maintenance Positions.

4 Remove the cushion valve filter as follows:
a Disconnect the hose 4.
b Undo the fitting 1 and remove the cushion valve
filter 6.
5 At the applicable service interval clean the cushion
valve filter using a suitable cleaning fluid. Refer to
Section 2, Maintenance, Maintenance Schedules.
Make sure that the filter is free from contamination. If
the filter is defective replace it with a new one.

Routine Maintenance Procedures
2 Release the tank pressure. Refer to Section 2,
Maintenance, Hydraulic System.
3 Get access to the cushion valve filter 6.
Points ( T E-296)
6 At the applicable service interval replace the cushion
valve filter with a new one. Refer to Section 2,
Maintenance, Maintenance Schedules.
Transfer the adaptors 2 and 3 to the new filter. Torque
tighten to 34 Nm.
7 Installation of the cushion valve filter is a reversal of
removal. Install the filter with the arrow 5 facing the
valve block 7.
Torque tighten the adaptor 1 and hose 4 to 34 Nm.
