10 Remove brake piston 702 using the special extraction
jig - refer to Section 1 - Service Tools.

11 Position main housing 301 horizontally and remove
cylinder block 111/push rod 116 taking care not to
damage the sliding contact surfaces of the cylinder
block, spherical bush 113 and shoe 122.

12 Remove the pistons 121, piston shoes 122, retaining
plate 123, spherical bush 113, spacer F 117 and shoe
plate 124.
Note: Shoe plates 124 may not be removable at this stage.
Continue with the following steps until better access is
provided (see step 15).
13 Pull out friction plates 742 and separator plates 743.
14 Remove snap ring 437 and take off front cover 304.
15 Remove drive shaft 101, complete with bearing race
443, from main housing 301 by tapping gently at the
open end of the main housing.
