5 Push the pin out using a bar and hammer.

Metal Splinters
You can be injured by flying metal splinters when
driving metal pins in or out. Use a soft faced hammer
or copper pin to remove and fit metal pins. Always
wear safety glasses.

6 Restrain the eye end of the ram piston rod to the ram
cylinder to prevent the piston rod from extending.

7 Remove the ram hoses and install plugs or caps to
prevent contamination.
8 Attach slings to support the ram.
9 Remove the nuts and bolts from the cylinder end of
the ram. Push out the pin using a bar and hammer.
Lift the ram clear.
