4. Use the filter wrench to remove the filter bowl from the filter head.
5. Remove seal and filter element.
6. Smear the new sealing ring with fuel oil and install with filter element into bowl.
7. Install bowl to filter head and tighten with filter wrench.
8. Wipe up any spilt fuel.
9. Bleed the fuel system.

Clean
Primary Fuel Filter
1. Make the machine safe.
Refer to: Maintenance > Maintenance Positions (Page 184).
2. Get access to the filter.
Refer to: Maintenance > Service Points (Page 185).
3. If there is water but no sediment, open the tap to drain the water. If there is any sediment in the bowl replace
the fuel filter element. Do not disconnect the electrical connector (if installed).
4. Tighten the drain tap when all the water is drained.
