Main Fuel Filter
The fuel filter housing contains a float which moves up and down in accordance with the amount of separated
water. Drain any water in the bowl as follows:
1. Make the machine safe.
Refer to: Maintenance > Maintenance Positions (Page 184).
2. Get access to the fuel filter.
Refer to: Maintenance > Service Points (Page 185).
3. Loosen the air bleeder plug and open tap to drain any water in the bowl.
4. Close tap and make sure that air bleeder plug is closed.
5. Wipe up any spilt fuel.
