5 Restrain the eye end of the piston rod to the ram
cylinder, to prevent movement of the rod.

6 Release the tank pressure, see Releasing the Tank
Pressure.
7 Remove the hoses, and install plugs or caps to
prevent contamination.

8 Remove the nut and bolt and push out the pin with a
hammer and bar.
You can be injured by flying metal splinters when
driving metal pins in or out. Use a soft faced hammer
or copper pin to remove and fit metal pins. Always
wear safety glasses.
