Initial configuration

Change the default LAN subnet

You can change the IX14 default LAN subnet—192.168.2.1/24—to any range of private IPs. The local
DHCP server range will also change to the range of the LAN subnet.
To change the LAN subnet:
  WebUI
1. Log into the IX14 WebUI as a user with full Admin access rights.
2. On the menu, click System. Under Configuration, click Device Configuration.
The Configuration window is displayed.
3. Click Network > Interfaces > LAN > IPv4.
4. For Address, change the IP address to an alternate private IP. You must also specify the subnet
mask. It must have the syntax of IPv4_address/netmask.
5. Click Apply to save the configuration and apply the change.
  Command line
1. Log into the IX14 command line as a user with full Admin access rights.
Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an Access selection
menu. Type admin to access the Admin CLI.
