Stern and Swivel
DPS Manifold Service
Carefully install leads and cables through the port
side of the swivel bracket in this order:
•
DPS motor cable
•
steering pressure sensor leads
•
trim sender lead
•
trim motor cable

2. Steering pressure sensor leads
Carefully place the manifold assembly into posi-
tion on the swivel bracket. Take care to keep
o-rings in position.

Install the two cap screws and washers into the
DPS manifold and the four hex screws into the
trim manifold.

2. Four hex screws
Tighten screws in the sequence shown to a torque
of 18 to 20 Ft. lbs. (24.4 to 27 N·m).
Tightening Sequence
Install the trim sender on the port stern bracket.
Refer to Trim Sender Service in the correct Ser-
vice Manual.
