Exhaust Housing & Adapter
Exhaust Housing Service
Lift the adapter and exhaust pipe from the exhaust
housing.
Exhaust Pipe
Make a mark on the exhaust pipe and adapter to
reference the position of the exhaust hose fitting.
Remove the exhaust pipe from the adapter.
1. Mark
Installation is the reverse of removal. Lubricate
the seals with soapy water. Align the mark on the
exhaust pipe with the mark on the adapter and
insert the exhaust pipe into the adapter.

Cooling Water Hose and Tube
Remove the hose clamps to service the hose and
tube assembly.
Installation is reverse of removal. If fitting is
removed, apply Pipe Thread Sealant to the
threads of the fitting.
Tighten the fitting to a torque of 15 to 17 ft. lbs.
(20 to 23 N·m).
Attach the hose to the fitting with a new hose
clamp. Tighten the hose clamp to a torque of
30 to 35 ft. lbs. (3 to 4 N·m).
Attach the tube to the hose with a new Oetiker
clamp.
