upper & lower water cooling hoses.
vapor separator vent outlet hose.
fuel inlet hose from the boat fuel supply hose.
pulse hoses from the fuel lift pump (AGA &
newer models)
Disconnect the fuel rails from the vapor separator.
Refer to Quick Connector Locking Fittings on
p. 172.
Use shop towels to wipe up any spilled fuel.
Remove the vapor separator, fuel filter bracket
and remaining hoses as an assembly:
Remove the two fuel filter bracket mounting
screws and washers.
Remove the two lower vapor separator mount-
ing screws and washers.
Remove the vapor separator, fuel filter bracket
and hoses from the engine.

Place the assembly in a large tray or other suit-
able container to catch the fuel from the vapor
separator. A full assembly can hold over 32 oz.
(1 L) of fuel.
Dispose of fuel and fuel contaminated towels in
an environmentally responsible manner, or
according to local regulations.
Take the assembly to a work bench or other suit-
able work surface.
Carefully remove Oetiker clamps from:

1. Inlet hose from inline fuel filter
2. Outlet hose from fuel lift pump
3. Inlet hose from water separating fuel filter
Then remove the hoses.
Installation
After servicing the fuel system check for
leaks. Failure to check for fuel leakage could
allow a leak to go undetected, resulting in fire
or explosion.
