Error Message Types
201 to 799 :
These errors indicate that a device operation did not properly complete ,
Device-Specific possibly due to an abnormal hardware or firmware condition . These
Errors codes are also used for self-test response errors. Errors in this class set
the device-specific error bit (bit 3) in the event status register (IEE E
488.2, section 11 .5.1).
The <error_message> string for a positive error is not part of the SCP I
standard. A positive error indicates that the instrument detected a n
error within the GPIB system, within the instrument firmware o r
hardware, during the transfer of block data, or during calibration.
Greater than
These errors indicate that an error has been detected while executin g
1000 : measurements requiring
Option BAH.
