FORMat Subsystem
The FORMat subsystem sets a data format for transferring numeri c
and array information . TRACe [ : DATA] and TRACe [ : DATA] ? are
affected by FORMat subsystem commands.
Byte Order
:FORMat :BORDer NORMa1lSWAPped
:FORMat :BORDer ?
This command selects the binary data byte order for data transfer . It
controls whether binary data is transferred in normal or swappe d
mode. This command
affects
only the byte order for setting and
querying trace data for the command : TRACe [ : DATA] and query
: TRACe [ : DATA] ?
NOTE Normal mode is when the byte sequence begins with the mos t
significant byte (MSB) first, and ends with the least significant byt e
(LSB) last in the sequence : 11213 14 . Swapped mode is when the byte
sequence begins with the LSB first, and ends with the MSB last in the
sequence : 4 13 12 11 .
