Remarks:
Normal baseband video has sync pulses on the bottom
of the waveform (use the
NEG
parameter for more
negative voltage) . However, when the analyzer is use d
to demodulate an NTSC or PAL TV RF carrier, the
detected video waveform is "upside down" with sync
pulses on the top of the waveform (use the PO S
parameter for more positive voltage) . When the
analyzer is used to demodulate a SECAM TV R F
carrier, the detected video waveform has norma l
polarity (use the
NEG
parameter) .

signal path (the detected video is fed to the TV trigger), or the EXT
VIDEO IN connector on the analyzer rear panel . This command i s
available only on analyzers having Option B7B .

This command allows you to choose one of the various TV standards .
This command is available only on analyzers having Option B7B .

Remarks :
Once this function is defined, the selected type i s
persistent . Persistent means that it retains the setting
previously selected, even through a power cycle . The
setting will change with "Load State . "
