STATus Subsystem
The STATus subsystem controls the SCPI-defined status-reportin g
structures .
Operation Condition Quer y
STATus :OPERation :CONDition ?
This query returns the decimal value of the sum of the bits in th e
Status Operation Condition register.
NOTE
The data in this register is continuously updated and reflects th e
current conditions.
Operation Enable
STATus :OPERation :ENABle<number>I<non-decimal numeric>
STATus :OPERation :ENABle ?
This command determines which bits in the Operation Conditio n
Register will set bits in the Operation Event register, which also sets
the Operation Status Summary bit (bit 7) in the Status Byte Register .
The variable <number> is the sum of the decimal values of the bits yo u
want to enable .
NOTE
Preset sets all bits in this enable register to 0 . To have any Operatio n
Events reported to the Status Byte Register, 1 or more bits must be se t
to 1 .

Operation Event Query
:STATus :OPERation[ :EVENt] ?
This query returns the decimal value of the sum of the bits in th e
Operation Event register.
NOTE
The register requires that the equivalent PTR or NTR filters be se t
before a condition register bit can set a bit in the event register .
The data in this register is latched until it is queried . Once queried, th e
data is cleared .
