The term On Board Diagnostic (OBD) refers to the electrical and electronic parts of ABS; this means that
predominantly only ABS control module electrical and wiring malfunctions will be detected.
Start
Connect
VAG 1551
scan tool
1. Carry out test drive over 40 km/h (24 mph).
2. Check DTC memory again.
3. If still no DTC recognized.
