Driving out
- Drive out spring pins (arrows) for engaging lever
and detent segment just far enough to remove
selector shaft.
Note:
Spring pin for engaging lever may drop into planetary
gearbox.
Driving in
- Drive in spring pins after inserting selector shaft,
engaging lever and detent segment.

- Remove bolt (arrow) and washer.
Note:
The washer is placed into the groove of the
selector shaft and secures the shaft to keep it
from dropping out.
The selector shaft can be removed or installed
after taking out the spring for the selector
segment.
