Valve body, removing and installing

Valve body conductor strip with
transmission fluid temperature sensor,
removing and installing
If necessary, the conductor strip can be replaced
with the transmission installed, without removing
the valve body.
Removing
- Drain Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF).
- Raise vehicle and remove protective plate
beneath ATF pan.
- Disconnect conductor strip harness connector.
- Remove ATF pan and ATF screen.
- Place special tool 3373 into position on stop under
solenoid valve connector, and pry conductor strip
off in direction shown (arrow).
- Remove bolt -1- and remove conductor strip.
Note:
If the locating points are damaged, the valve body
must be replaced.
