Torque converter, draining
If the torque converter has become contaminated
by particles resulting from wear or abrasion, or
when carrying out a major overhaul of the
transmission, drain the torque converter as
follows:
- Extract automatic transmission fluid (ATF) from
torque converter using VAG 1358A with VAG 1358
A/1 probe, or EZ1 fluid evacuator.
