a difference in density
between front and
rear?
YES
Clean the mirrors.
Execute the following in service mode:
COPIER>FUNCTION>CCD>CCD-ADJ
Is there
a difference in density
between front and
rear?
YES
Go to
"Checking the Density Slope"
on the printer side.
Is the
image of gray Scale
No. 1 (solid black) copied of the
NA3 Chart in text mode
too light?
YES
Check the life of the
scanning lamp; if its
end is reached,
replace it.
Clean the following:
1. Mirrors
2. Lens
3. Standard white plate
4. Scanning lamp
5. Reflecting plate
Execute potential
control.
Turn off and then on
the power switch, and
make a copy.
Execute the following in service mode:
COPIER>FUNCTION>CCD>CCD-ADJ
Is gray scale
No. 1 (solid black) too
light?
YES
Go to
"Checking the Solid Black"
on the printer side.
NO
Go to
"Checking the Solid Black"
NO
