Use right-click on a line in the Log Window to open a pop-up window with the following
options:
Reset: Selecting this option results in a reset command being sent to the client VoIP
gateway. The program searches its database for the MAC address indicated in the line. If
the client is found in that database, the program adds the client MAC address to the
Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) table for the computer. The program then sends a
reset command to the client. This enables a reset to be sent without knowing the current
IP address of the client, as long as the computer sending the reset is on the same
subnet.
To use reset as described above, the user must have administrator privileges on the
computer. Attempting to perform this type of reset without administrator privileges on
the computer results in an error message. ARP Manipulation Enable must also be
turned on in the Preferences window.
View Client: Selecting this option, or double clicking on the line in the log window, opens
the Client Configuration window. If the MAC address indicated on the line exists in the
client database, it is highlighted. If the address is not in the client database, a new client
is added with the MAC address filled out. You can enter data in the remaining fields to
create a new client entry for that client.
