Customizing the Product Name

The Product Name text string can be modified according to OEMs specific requirements.
To replace 3Com default product name with a text string using the Web Interface, modify
the two ini file parameters in
ini File Parameters via the Web AdminPage.
To replace 3Com default product name with a text string using the ini file, add/modify the

To modify ini file parameters using the AdminPage:
Access the V7111 Embedded Web Server (see

In the URL field, append the suffix AdminPage (note that its case-sensitive) to the IP

address, for example, http://10.1.229.17/AdminPage.
Click the INI Parameters option, the INI Parameters screen is displayed.

The name (and path) of the file containing the new background.
Use a gif, jpg or jpeg image file.
The default is 3Com background file.
The length of the name of the image file is limited to 47 characters.
