enable address_binding arp_inspection
Purpose
Syntax
Description
Used to enable address_binding trap/log.
enable address_binding trap_log
This command is used to send trap and log when address binding module detects
illegal ip and mac address.
None.
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Used to disable address binding trap/log.
disable address_binding trap_log
This command is used to disable address binding trap/log.
None.
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Used to enable ARP inspection on IMPB enabled ports.
enable address_binding arp_inspection
By default, ARP inspection is disabled.
When ARP inspection is enabled, the switch will validate the ARP request or ARP
reply packets by retrieving the sender's (MAC, IP) from an ARP packet payload. If
the (IP, MAC) are in IMPB list, the ARP packets will be forwarded, otherwise the
ARP packet will be discarded.
When ARP inspection and ASP (ARP Spoofing Prevention) are enabled on the same
port, the ARP packets which match ASP entries will be forwarded according to the
